Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jörn Svartengren took the kick off in the first half of the match. Inter de Guayaquil FC's Sebastian Hellkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Cassaretto in the 4th minute of play. Sebastian Hellkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martino Armona in the 6th minute of play. Sebastian Hellkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Cassaretto, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. George Forsyth was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Jörn Svartengren capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jörn Svartengren really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 18th match minute, CD Municipal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iacob Roman to maneuver through the defense. After 24 minutes of play, CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastian Hellkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sebastian Hellkvist came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto. But to his dismay, Enrique Cassaretto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

A collision led to CD Municipal getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Evtim Kúrdzhev hit a great ball. In the 61st minute Martino Armona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Hellkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörn Svartengren in the 64th minute of play forced CD Municipal's goalkeeper George Forsyth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inter de Guayaquil FC's Éric Cantona was substituted for Jörn Svartengren. CD Municipal's Ryota Miyagi was substituted for Zlatan Molina. Inter de Guayaquil FC's Jakub Ziombkowski was substituted for Victor Morales. In the 67th minute of the match Inter de Guayaquil FC got a corner. CD Municipal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Salvador Musacchio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Salvador Musacchio made a great header on Inter de Guayaquil FC's corner, it was just that CD Municipal's George Forsyth managed to reach the ball for a save. 70 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when Éric Cantona came free, but George Forsyth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. George Forsyth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Acutain in the 71st minute of the match. Jakub Ziombkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inter de Guayaquil FC's Humberto Barragan was substituted for Lorenzo Acutain. CD Municipal's George Forsyth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Éric Cantona in the 75th minute of play. After 82 played minutes Inter de Guayaquil FC got a freekick which was hit by Éric Cantona. 84 minutes into the match, Inter de Guayaquil FC's goalkeeper Sebastian Hellkvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ryota Miyagi. In the 87th minute, Jakub Ziombkowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter de Guayaquil FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Sebastian Hellkvist didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when CD Municipal's Ryota Miyagi shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-3 in the ordered_time% minute. The CD Municipal players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Inter de Guayaquil FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
