The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Durval Pitta during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th minute, Durval Pitta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Clube do Remo MZ's goalkeeper Cléber Pinho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conrado Holz. In the 34thth minute of the game Nilson Velasco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Vanja Milenković was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vanja Milenković took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilson Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vanja Milenković showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manfredo Breckenfeld, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Vanja Milenković showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilson Velasco in the 38th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nilson Velasco in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vanja Milenković saved KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A from getting behind. Pedro Augusto Tepedino hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Vanja Milenković stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Augusto Tepedino's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Manfredo Breckenfeld got his second yellow card in the match during the 47th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A booed when Clube do Remo MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manfredo Breckenfeld didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Clube do Remo MZ were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Conrado Holz made a kick off. Carlos Fernando Velloso hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the game, Nilson Velasco lined in a short shot 0-4 behind a frustrated Vanja Milenković. Nilson Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The match ended with a win for Clube do Remo MZ.
