Dariusz Gacek was slow to take the kick. During this time MKS Maczka's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to MKS Maczka's Roman Mudry getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Boleslaw Cerocki struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Urmas Känsäkangas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MKS Maczka. Napoleon Gondela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavier Goossens in the 19th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the game, Xavier Goossens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Napoleon Gondela was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. MKS Maczka's Napoleon Gondela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavier Goossens in the 36th minute of play. Napoleon Gondela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavier Goossens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eugeniusz Kolbert to strike the kick off in the second half. The long shot by Bram Jamieson in the 52nd minute really tested Napoleon Gondela's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 55th minute, Dariusz Gacek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Urmas Känsäkangas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugeniusz Kolbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xavier Goossens in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Napoleon Gondela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 71 minutes, Benedicto Atarratze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SK Gullegem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedicto Atarratze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Xavier Goossens came free with the goalkeeper in the 73rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Napoleon Gondela could save by the left post. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of MKS Maczka:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SK Gullegem:s goal. Napoleon Gondela had in the 76thth minute some difficulties stopping Louis Jamieson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Napoleon Gondela came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by SK Gullegem's Louis Jamieson. But to his dismay, Louis Jamieson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After having played for 80 minutes, Igor Zaworski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MKS Maczka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Zaworski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. MKS Maczka's Napoleon Gondela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Atarratze in the 83rd minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, MKS Maczka's goalkeeper Napoleon Gondela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xavier Goossens. After a rather tough play, MKS Maczka's Wincenty Sakowicz got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xavier Goossens got free with Napoleon Gondela in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Napoleon Gondela managed to avoid a goal in the 97thth minute, when SK Gullegem's Xavier Goossens fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
