If Harry Olofsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Christer Åkerström came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cléber Pinho could save by the left post. When Alex Olofsson fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diniimanibelediyespor's protests and gave Alex Olofsson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Clube do Remo MZ booed when Diniimanibelediyespor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Olofsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Diniimanibelediyespor's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Augusto Tepedino came free, but Melker Ödman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manfredo Breckenfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Melker Ödman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Pedro Augusto Tepedino came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Clube do Remo MZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Augusto Tepedino couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute Nilson Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melker Ödman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernt Söderkvist struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Cléber Pinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Diniimanibelediyespor. Pedro Augusto Tepedino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Manfredo Breckenfeld sped through Diniimanibelediyespor's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Melker Ödman. 63 minutes into the match, Diniimanibelediyespor's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Augusto Tepedino came free, but Melker Ödman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Melker Ödman managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Clube do Remo MZ's Nilson Velasco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Melker Ödman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor de Sena in the 88th minute of the match. Harry Olofsson charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Harry Olofsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Melker Ödman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nilson Velasco in the 94th minute. Clube do Remo MZ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
