When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Wincenty Szarmach put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Maximo Godoy. New Pi's Set Fernando quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cyprian Japola, made in the 12th minute of the game. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fae Folgore's goalkeeper Teobald Kociniewski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. New Pi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Generoso Artizar in the 15th minute. The corner ended in Set Fernando almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fae Folgore's Teobald Kociniewski did a great save. 19 minutes into the match, Marcelo Goito dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Teobald Kociniewski, 1-1. In the 22nd minute Roman Kisielka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Godoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Goito got free with Teobald Kociniewski in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A sloppy throw-in by Cyprian Japola in the 43rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by New Pi's Set Fernando. An unexpectedly hard shot by João do Nascimento in the 45th minute of play forced New Pi's goalkeeper Maximo Godoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximo Godoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliusz Bejger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wincenty Szarmach was the one to do the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Maximo Godoy successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Fae Folgore booed when New Pi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Goito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fae Folgore made a substitution. Barnaba Barniszke replaced Roman Kisielka. In the 74th minute João do Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Godoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in New Pi's zone, Barnaba Barniszke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximo Godoy came out of the goal and Barnaba Barniszke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fae Folgore's Teobald Kociniewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Osorio in the 77th minute of play. Uriel Geleberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobald Kociniewski having to interfere. New Pi's Maximo Godoy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save New Pi from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Fae Folgore getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Wincenty Szarmach hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as João do Nascimento kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Maximo Godoy. That made the score 3-2 in the 92 minute of play. New Pi were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Fae Folgore for a fine match.
