Without hesitation aimed to the right of Maximo Godoy, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Maximo Godoy stood somewhat misplaced when Harry Olofsson came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 4 minute. Marcelo Goito took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melker Ödman. Melker Ödman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christer Åkerström got free with Maximo Godoy in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gösta Dalgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Marcelo Goito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Melker Ödman. Diniimanibelediyespor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelo Goito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 29th match minute, Diniimanibelediyespor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torsten Bergfelt to maneuver through the defense. Maximo Godoy made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Gösta Dalgren sent off a good shot on target. New Pi's Set Fernando managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mats-Alexander Alexander-Arnold in the 39 minute of the game. In the 44th minute, Uriel Geleberto made a precise shot to the right of Melker Ödman. Diniimanibelediyespor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Uriel Geleberto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th match minute, Diniimanibelediyespor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Olofsson to maneuver through the defense. Generoso Artizar, 57 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Marcelo Goito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melker Ödman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Geleberto in the 66th minute of play forced Diniimanibelediyespor's goalkeeper Melker Ödman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Olofsson in the 69th minute of play forced New Pi's goalkeeper Maximo Godoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melker Ödman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Geleberto in the 72nd minute of play. Diniimanibelediyespor's Melker Ödman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Diniimanibelediyespor from getting a goal against them. Set Fernando hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After 84 played minutes New Pi got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Osorio. After 85 minutes, Gösta Dalgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Diniimanibelediyespor and the New Pi players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Diniimanibelediyespor's Gösta Dalgren got a free kick in the 85th minute. Uriel Geleberto charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uriel Geleberto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to New Pi getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Uriel Geleberto hit a great ball. Uriel Geleberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melker Ödman having to interfere. New Pi's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
