In the 15th minute, Eugeniusz Kolbert made a precise shot to the right of Santos Kiliz. GUSESI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Santos Kiliz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugeniusz Kolbert in the 19th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnaldo Intxixu got free with Napoleon Gondela in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugeniusz Kolbert in the 23rd minute of play forced GUSESI's goalkeeper Santos Kiliz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GUSESI's Santos Kiliz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miroslaw Kasiewski in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of GUSESI booed when MKS Maczka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wieslaw Kempka didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Cayetano Bertol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute of the match Dariusz Gacek sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Santos Kiliz skillfully saved the ball. The GUSESI players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MKS Maczka were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hugo Sánchez was the one to do the kick off. Santos Kiliz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 65th minute, Igor Zaworski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Santos Kiliz. The goal made the score 0-6. 71 minutes into the match, GUSESI's goalkeeper Santos Kiliz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Zaworski.
