The audience thought a goal was coming when Nick Usel got free with Cléber Pinho in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 5 minutes into the game, Nicolas Tantholt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cléber Pinho. Nicolas Tantholt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 12 minutes into the game, Vinícius Mineiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clube do Remo MZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Halkus Valkus BK the free kick. Vinícius Mineiro hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the match, Clube do Remo MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Nick Usel came free, but Cléber Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute Wanderson Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jiří Grim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sune Sjöberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mário Maia in the 25th minute of play forced Halkus Valkus BK's goalkeeper Jiří Grim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clube do Remo MZ's Cléber Pinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Tantholt in the 29th minute of play. Sune Sjöberg kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Jonathan Sundström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clube do Remo MZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Fred Ekman scored to the left of an out of position Cléber Pinho, making the score, 3-0. 45 minutes into the game, Halkus Valkus BK's Fred Ekman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cléber Pinho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victor de Sena was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Nick Usel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cléber Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clube do Remo MZ's Eusébio Dantas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nick Usel, made in the 53rd minute of the game. Cléber Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Tantholt in the 54th minute of the match. The supporters of Halkus Valkus BK booed when Clube do Remo MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinícius Mineiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cléber Pinho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicolas Tantholt went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Halkus Valkus BK booed when Clube do Remo MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Fernando Velloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Halkus Valkus BK's Ovidiu Spirea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cléber Pinho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Carlos Fernando Velloso hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Victor de Sena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jiří Grim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Clube do Remo MZ's Jiří Grim threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carlos Fernando Velloso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 72nd minute Nicolas Tantholt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cléber Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7-0 became the score in the 81st minute when Lütfullah Tan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After having played for 91 minutes, Mário Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clube do Remo MZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mário Maia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
