The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Seyhan Atlıhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nick Usel in the 4th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Marcellus Baumann successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Marcellus Baumann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Resulhan Lemi in the 14th minute of play. Ozanköy u21's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anders Eriksson in the 15th minute. A collision led to Halkus Valkus BK getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Nick Usel hit a great ball. A hard shot by Anders Eriksson from long distance, 16 minutes into the match, got Marcellus Baumann's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 17th minute, Nicolas Tantholt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Seyhan Atlıhan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Halkus Valkus BK's Marcellus Baumann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Resulhan Lemi in the 22nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ozanköy u21's Resulhan Lemi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcellus Baumann. That made the score 1-2 after 25 minutes of play. With his leg Marcellus Baumann managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Ozanköy u21's Ren Xi Chen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ren Xi Chen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Marcellus Baumann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ozanköy u21's Martin Landro got a free kick in the 37th minute. After 37 played minutes, Halkus Valkus BK's Ovidiu Spirea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Seyhan Atlıhan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Halkus Valkus BK reached it. Jonathan Sundström hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

A collision led to Ozanköy u21 getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Martin Landro hit a great ball. In the 55th minute Nick Usel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seyhan Atlıhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Halkus Valkus BK were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Ozanköy u21's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ovidiu Spirea took the corner. The corner ended in Ovidiu Spirea almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ozanköy u21's Seyhan Atlıhan did a great save. Ovidiu Spirea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seyhan Atlıhan having to interfere. In the 63rdth minute of the game Ren Xi Chen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Halkus Valkus BK's Marcellus Baumann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcellus Baumann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ren Xi Chen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Halkus Valkus BK's goal looked a bit too open when Ren Xi Chen came free, but Marcellus Baumann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcellus Baumann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lachezar Dúbov in the 75th minute of the match. Ren Xi Chen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcellus Baumann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Marcellus Baumann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ren Xi Chen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ren Xi Chen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Halkus Valkus BK's Lütfullah Tan was substituted for Nick Usel. When Özdemir Kutluay fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ozanköy u21's protests and gave Özdemir Kutluay a yellow card for diving instead.
