Ibis Football Club's Pedro Rosado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Ibis Football Club from getting a goal against them. Santiago Urtats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eurico Peixoto in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute Eurico Peixoto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Urtats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paunero's Santiago Urtats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eurico Peixoto in the 45th minute of play. Julian Abarca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Pedro Rosado when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The Ibis Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ibis Football Club made a substitution. Felipe Gaúcho replaced Silvério Vander. Everardo Dodorol made in the 79th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Cleto Lauaxeta immediately put the ball in play. Eurico Peixotos short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Santiago Urtats to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Ibis Football Club booed when Paunero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Dodorol didn't get a good kick on the ball.
