That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. Ibis Football Club's Eurico Peixoto got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eurico Peixoto in the 21st minute of play forced SK Gullegem's goalkeeper Constantijn van Eycken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eurico Peixoto in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Constantijn van Eycken prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eurico Peixoto was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 25th minute. Ibis Football Club's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the last second Constantijn van Eycken throw himself and got hold of the ball when Eurico Peixoto in the 26thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Pedro Rosado came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by SK Gullegem's Will Jamieson. But to his dismay, Will Jamieson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 34th minute there was a penalty for Ibis Football Club. Eurico Peixoto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Constantijn van Eycken. 2-1. With a little luck, SK Gullegem's Constantijn van Eycken got control of the ball when Eurico Peixoto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eurico Peixoto struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Constantijn van Eycken didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ibis Football Club. After a rather tough play, Ibis Football Club's Per-Oskar Nordstedt got a free kick in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Will Jamieson to make the kick off. Constantijn van Eycken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eurico Peixoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. If Anton Volders had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the SK Gullegem defense, Eurico Peixoto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Constantijn van Eycken. The SK Gullegem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Constantijn van Eycken should have stopped the shot. Eurico Peixoto might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Constantijn van Eycken. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eurico Peixoto ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in SK Gullegem's zone, Eurico Peixoto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantijn van Eycken came out of the goal and Eurico Peixoto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Bermund during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Juan Bermund hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Eurico Peixoto scored 4-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Constantijn van Eycken, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
