Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Stickleback Utd Xl's Laurence Perryman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the game, Stickleback Utd Xl's Laurence Perryman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Rupert Longden kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tommy Kahn. That made the score 2-0 in the 11 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tod McCartney in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 18th minute of play forced Stickleback Utd Xl's goalkeeper Kaxen Carreras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Albin Holweck. If Laurence Perryman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tod McCartney was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 24th minute. Stickleback Utd Xl's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laurence Perryman in the 26th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rony Schmidt got free with Tommy Kahn in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rony Schmidt in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaxen Carreras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. In the 60th minute of the match Benji Browne shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tod McCartney might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tod McCartney ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 67th minute of the match Germany got a corner. Stickleback Utd Xl's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Frank Sachs ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tod McCartney's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tod McCartney in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes in the game Charles Armitstead did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Rony Schmidt. Kaxen Carreras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Holweck in the 76th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Stickleback Utd Xl's Rony Schmidt got a free kick in the 76th minute.
