Cassiano Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Takacs Tibor in the 5th minute of play. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 6th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of GD Fiães's goalie and right to Takacs Tibor. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. GD Fiães's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maurício Câmara's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Cassiano Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 17th minute of the match. After 18 minutes GD Fiães's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Hungary's Major Barna to fire away a dangerous shot which Cassiano Mendonça despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. GD Fiães's Maurício Câmara got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Telmo Teves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hungary's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Tobias Brites 26 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. A collision led to GD Fiães getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Severiano Calado hit a great ball. If Maurício Câmara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. GD Fiães's Cassiano Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 33rd minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, GD Fiães's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Cassiano Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Telmo Teves made a kick off. If Telmo Teves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Maurício Câmara managed to get in a good position for a shot. GD Fiães's supporters rose to their feet, but Maurício Câmara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. GD Fiães's Delyan Temelyotev was substituted for Severiano Calado. Tobias Brites charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tobias Brites the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th minute, Tobias Brites hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antal Valentin kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. GD Fiães made a substitution. Adão Anjos replaced Maurício Câmara. After 72 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Antal Valentin. In the 77th minute, Telmo Teves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fodor Daniel was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Major Barna was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 85th minute. Hungary's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 87 minutes into the game, GD Fiães's Telmo Teves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fodor Daniel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Telmo Teves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The GD Fiães players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
