A collision led to Slovakia getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Vavrinec Koleno hit a great ball. After 5 played minutes RÖK got a freekick which was hit by Cesinha Marquez. 9 minutes into the game, RÖK's Júlio Varela nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henrich Slany made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 12th minute, Marcus Castro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RÖK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After having played for 14 minutes, Marcelinho Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RÖK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelinho Vieira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 22 minutes, Zigmund Maliar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Slovakia and the RÖK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yan Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavol Koleno in the 25th minute of the match. If Hamílton Proença had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Slovakia's Henrich Slany got control of the ball when Marcus Castro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th minute Hamílton Proença shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrich Slany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrich Slany was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Marcus Castro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcus Castro really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. 43 minutes into the match, RÖK's Edson Brito sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henrich Slany narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Francisco Madureira took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henrich Slany. Henrich Slany dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. The audience was convinced that Jardel de Amaral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrich Slany was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. 64 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Madureira came free, but Henrich Slany reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Jardel de Amaral made a precise shot to the right of Henrich Slany. Slovakia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Adriano Fernandez scored 6-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henrich Slany, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcus Castro made in the 76th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Marcelinho Vieira. Yan Pirani came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Slovakia's Metod Mlynar. But to his dismay, Metod Mlynar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Henrich Slany took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jardel de Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jardel de Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Henrich Slany tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
