The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Campus Douro Academy's Manuel Caetano got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 7th minute, Balazs Lajos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 12th minute of play forced Campus Douro Academy's goalkeeper Eliseu Bragança to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Eliseu Bragança tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 24th minute of play forced Campus Douro Academy's goalkeeper Eliseu Bragança to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 25th minute. Fodor Daniel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rui Calçada went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 34 minutes into the match, Campus Douro Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Eliseu Bragança reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Álvaro Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Campus Douro Academy booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vörös Henrik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fodor Daniel was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from André Pestana. Idalécio Rebelo kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Campus Douro Academy's Eliseu Bragança played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antal Valentin was the one to do the kick off. Antal Valentin scored 1-2 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eliseu Bragança, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Antal Valentin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eliseu Bragança firmly grabbed it by the left post. Major Barna might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eliseu Bragança. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Campus Douro Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. 67 minutes into the game, Antal Valentin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hungary's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Campus Douro Academy the free kick. Antal Valentin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Eliseu Bragança when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Campus Douro Academy's Alfredo Lemos was substituted for Amadeu Seabra. In the 78thth minute of the game Vedat Burçhan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Campus Douro Academy's Vedat Burçhan got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Rodolfo Montay came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Campus Douro Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Montay couldn't finish the play. 91 minutes into the game, Idalécio Rebelo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Campus Douro Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. In the 91st minute, Idalécio Rebelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vedat Burçhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Hungary left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Campus Douro Academy.
