Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Teodoro Seixas got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Campus Douro Academy's goalkeeper Filipe Simões, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Filipe Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Sálvio Baldaia kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Jerónimo Souto tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Netherlands fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Netherlands's Wim Wilmes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Filipe Simões didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 43rdth minute of the game Teodoro Seixas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Sálvio Baldaia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Campus Douro Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Sálvio Baldaia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnout Reekers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Netherlands were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Filipe Simões made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 52nd minute of play forced Campus Douro Academy's goalkeeper Filipe Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. André Castilho kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Filipe Simões was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer. In the 61st minute, André Castilho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Filipe Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerónimo Souto in the 65th minute of the match. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerónimo Souto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Simões having to interfere. The supporters of Campus Douro Academy booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Meesters didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filipe Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The supporters of Campus Douro Academy booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Eikelkamp didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Netherlands's Filipe Simões threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Filipe Simões successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerónimo Souto in the 89th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute Benedito Figueiras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sálvio Baldaia hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the game, Norberto Henriques was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Campus Douro Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. After 95 played minutes Campus Douro Academy got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Henriques. Netherlands played a much better game than Campus Douro Academy and deserved their victory. The Campus Douro Academy players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
