Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Antal Valentin started the match with the kick off. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ulf Nordlander came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the DIF LEEDS BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulf Nordlander couldn't finish the play. After having played for 9 minutes, Ulf Nordlander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DIF LEEDS BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulf Nordlander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. Katona Janos made a great header on Hungary's corner, it was just that DIF LEEDS BK's Brazilio Butt managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 19th minute Östen Hedin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Balazs Lajos got a free kick in the 21st minute. Ulf Nordlander struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DIF LEEDS BK. Antal Valentin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brazilio Butt having to make a save. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Brazilio Butt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Takacs Tibor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Östen Hedins short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Fodor Daniel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Boros Benedek hit a great ball. Brazilio Butt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Östen Hedin made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Östen Hedin in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Östen Hedin managed to get in a good position for a shot. DIF LEEDS BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Östen Hedin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 55 played minutes DIF LEEDS BK got a freekick which was hit by Tanek Bobrowski. Major Barna was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 56th minute. Hungary's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Östen Hedin in the 62nd minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Brazilio Butt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. DIF LEEDS BK's Jesper Larsson was substituted for Mei Jie Feng. Balazs Lajos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brazilio Butt having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Ulf Nordlander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Ulf Nordlander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brazilio Butt made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. Östen Hedin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, Östen Hedin notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Hungary's Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. DIF LEEDS BK's Ernst Dahlquist was substituted for Ulf Nordlander. The DIF LEEDS BK support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
