In the 16th minute, Hungarian Olympic's Zoltán Stieber dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. The supporters of Germany booed when Hungarian Olympic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Cassar Naudi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernesto Belarmo in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 26th minute. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Ernesto Belarmo sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 31 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Belarmo got free with Tommy Kahn in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Hungarian Olympic's Ernesto Belarmo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. Ernesto Belarmo had several of the Germany's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 41 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 6-0 score and a disappointed Tommy Kahn as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ernesto Belarmos short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Tommy Kahn to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ernesto Belarmo to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Ernesto Belarmo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ernesto Belarmo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. In the 54thth minute of the game Ernesto Belarmo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Belarmo in the 56th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Ernesto Belarmo notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hungarian Olympic's András Soós was substituted for Ádám Torma. Hungarian Olympic's Per-Oskar Walroth was substituted for Zoltán Stieber. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Ernesto Belarmo sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Oskar Walroth, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After a rather tough play, Hungarian Olympic's Ernesto Belarmo got a free kick in the 78th minute. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Ernesto Belarmo put it in 11-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Belarmo in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute Hungarian Olympic were awarded a corner. Bryan Hodgson went to the cornerflag to take it. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Belarmo, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernesto Belarmo in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal.
