A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Major Barna hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 19th minute of play forced BELAJ BOYS's goalkeeper Esbjörn Apelquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gavril Tomozei hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the match, Hungary's Takacs Tibor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esbjörn Apelquist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Esbjörn Apelquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 33rd minute of the match. After 34 minutes BELAJ BOYS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. In the 42nd minute BELAJ BOYS were awarded a corner. Ragnar Bålström went to the cornerflag to take it. Ragnar Bålström made a great header on BELAJ BOYS's corner, it was just that Hungary's Fodor Daniel managed to reach the ball for a save. After 42 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Major Barna. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Hjalmar Ekelund made the kick off in the second half. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Bastos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esbjörn Apelquist. BELAJ BOYS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antal Valentin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After a rather tough play, BELAJ BOYS's Alex Halman got a free kick in the 57th minute. 60 minutes into the match, BELAJ BOYS's goalkeeper Esbjörn Apelquist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Balazs Lajos. Esbjörn Apelquist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Major Barna went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hjalmar Ekelund in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. Celso Bastos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Hungary booed when BELAJ BOYS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hjalmar Ekelund didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Hungary's Takacs Tibor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Esbjörn Apelquist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 84th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Balazs Lajos to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, BELAJ BOYS's Alex Halman got a free kick in the 89th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Hjalmar Ekelund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hjalmar Ekelund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. When the final whistle sounded Hungary left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than BELAJ BOYS.
