The supporters of Italy booed when RompePiernas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anibal Cristofol didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute, Porziano Marchitelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anibal Cristofol made in the 14th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. In the 16th match minute, Italy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zena Busacca to maneuver through the defense. Angelo Garci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siricio Liotta, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, RompePiernas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Angelo Garci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelo Garci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th match minute, RompePiernas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Péron to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigfrido Auletta in the 35th minute of play forced RompePiernas FC's goalkeeper Angelo Garci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, RompePiernas FC's Julio Olarticoechea got a free kick in the 36th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Zaccheo Andolina made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, RompePiernas FC's goalkeeper Angelo Garci had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zaccheo Andolina. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by RompePiernas FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sigfrido Auletta was slow to take the kick. During this time Italy's players had a chance to rest. 60 minutes into the match, RompePiernas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Angelo Garci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cipriano Aguilera struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Flavio Vittori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RompePiernas FC. RompePiernas FC's Angelo Garci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 65th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Paolo Péron ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavio Vittori was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 83rd minute Sigfrido Auletta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Garci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. Italy's Siricio Liotta quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nemesio Bermudez, made in the 87th minute of the game. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Aguilera in the 90th minute of play. RompePiernas FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Adriano Curto scored to the left of an out of position Angelo Garci, making the score, 1-3. RompePiernas FC made a substitution. Diego Juvenal replaced Cipriano Aguilera. The RompePiernas FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Italy were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
