Chepe Rajoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toni Mauzer, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The Croatia fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Croatia's Toni Mauzer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gizon Valdivia in the 13th minute of play forced Croatia's goalkeeper Ilija Skugor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dinko Stankovic hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. The supporters of LVCVS AVGVSTI booed when Croatia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damir Pongrac didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Gizon Valdivia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LVCVS AVGVSTI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gizon Valdivia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ilija Skugor was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Gizon Valdivia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gizon Valdivia really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Cefero Cabrera hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the game, Eduard Kostelac was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Croatia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LVCVS AVGVSTI the free kick. In the 30th match minute, Croatia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduard Kostelac to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Croatia's goalkeeper Ilija Skugor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Buenafuente. Armando Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gizon Valdivia succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-1 in the 40th playminute. In the 44th minute, LVCVS AVGVSTI's Mariano Buenafuente ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ilija Skugor. Ilija Skugor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Toni Mauzer to make the kick off. Ilija Skugor came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by LVCVS AVGVSTI's Aitor Grau. But to his dismay, Aitor Grau quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. In the 54th minute, Armando Silva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LVCVS AVGVSTI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Aitor Grau managed to get in a good position for a shot. LVCVS AVGVSTI's supporters rose to their feet, but Aitor Grau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilija Skugor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ilija Skugor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Silva in the 60th minute of play. Silvije Santek was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 61 minutes into the match. In the 62nd match minute, Croatia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvije Santek to maneuver through the defense. Aitor Grau took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ilija Skugor. Croatia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. LVCVS AVGVSTI's Gizon Valdivia got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Damir Pongrac fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Croatia's protests and gave Damir Pongrac a yellow card for diving instead. After 65 played minutes Croatia got a freekick which was hit by Damir Pongrac. Ilija Skugor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Buenafuente in the 72nd minute of play. Martin Bosak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. If Damir Pongrac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ilija Skugor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gizon Valdivia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Neven Culina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute of the match Goyo Canosa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ilija Skugor skillfully saved the ball. LVCVS AVGVSTI's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
