Cristiano Azevedo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tommy Kahn came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristiano Azevedo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 9th minute. In the 18th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gadiel Gadov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Jonathan Rodas in the 23rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Germany's Janik Vogt. After a rather tough play, Leão de Judá's Cesinha Pitta got a free kick in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 25th minute of play forced Leão de Judá's goalkeeper Gadiel Gadov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 31 minutes, Jonathan Rodas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leão de Judá and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristóvão Bezerra made a great header on Leão de Judá's corner, it was just that Germany's Tommy Kahn managed to reach the ball for a save. Janik Vogt hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, Jonathan Rodas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Gadiel Gadov in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
