Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edward Vanderstraeten took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Ted Holmgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sundborn IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ted Holmgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ted Holmgren in the 21st minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ted Holmgren in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casper Claes saved Belgium from getting behind. After having played for 24 minutes, Ted Holmgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kalle Askberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 36th minute of the match. Kalle Askberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lenny Clocheret hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Siebe Michiels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kalle Askberg having to interfere. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ted Holmgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaloyan Mitashev in the 52nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lenny Clocheret during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Sundborn IF booed when Belgium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lenny Clocheret didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Kalle Askberg made a huge save. Sundborn IF's Kalle Askberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Sundborn IF from getting a goal against them. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kalle Askberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Casper Claes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Belgium's zone, Alf Hansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Claes came out of the goal and Alf Hansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Sundborn IF's Börje Ekström got a free kick in the 94th minute. A hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten from long distance, 95 minutes into the match, got Kalle Askberg's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When the match was over Belgium could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sundborn IF throughout the match.
