Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Jan Abrahamsson came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Hertha 1969's Wilhelm Nienhaus. But to his dismay, Wilhelm Nienhaus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Marques came free, but Rune Jarstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benedikt Bensch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to PP Plessydask getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Artemio Lastur hit a great ball. Jan Abrahamsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Paulo da Silva in the 13th minute of play. Jan Abrahamsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Bertil Lundberg fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PP Plessydask's protests and gave Bertil Lundberg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to PP Plessydask getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Bertil Lundberg hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Edgar Marques kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rune Jarstein. That made the score 1-1 in the 21 minute of play. Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Marques in the 25th minute of play. In the 35th minute Ziemowit Tscherner suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. Hertha 1969's Lüder Roppel was substituted for Ziemowit Tscherner. Sungur Tekin made in the 41st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Edgar Marques. PP Plessydask's attentive Babe Baadegaard managed to snatch the ball when Lüder Roppel made a throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
PP Plessydask's Palle Pottenstein was substituted for Stefan Vennersten. PP Plessydask's Hjalmar Haegg was substituted for Edgar Marques. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilhelm Nienhaus was the one to do the kick off. Rune Jarstein came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by PP Plessydask's Hjalmar Haegg. But to his dismay, Hjalmar Haegg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The Hertha 1969 fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Hertha 1969's Wilhelm Nienhaus looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hjalmar Haegg in the 61st minute of play forced Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Rune Jarstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilhelm Nienhaus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan Abrahamsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hjalmar Haegg in the 67th minute of play forced Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Rune Jarstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Moritz Hasenjäger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's goal looked a bit too open when Artemio Lastur came free, but Rune Jarstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan Abrahamsson was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Wilhelm Nienhaus capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wilhelm Nienhaus really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Jan Abrahamsson made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Wilhelm Nienhaus sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st minute Babe Baadegaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Jarstein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 played minutes PP Plessydask got a freekick which was hit by Jerzy Penkalski. Jerzy Penkalski kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Jan Abrahamsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rupert Heidingsfelder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hjalmar Haegg in the 87th minute of play. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by PP Plessydask's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zé Paulo da Silva was slow to take the kick. During this time Hertha 1969's players had a chance to rest. Jerzy Penkalski kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Hertha 1969's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
