With a little luck, Vi Är Gnaget...AIK's 郑皓默 got control of the ball when Zé Paulo da Silva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rune Jarstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chicão França in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Stenberg came free, but Rune Jarstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute Wilhelm Nienhaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 郑皓默 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Algot Ennegren charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Rune Jarstein had in the 41stth minute some difficulties stopping Chicão França's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.

The wind increased when Wilhelm Nienhaus made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Isaac Stenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Jarstein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dennis Martinsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Rune Jarstein made a huge save. 郑皓默 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilhelm Nienhaus's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
