Laureano Beltza kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Sergio Mustafa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of C.U.E. DE COMERCIO booed when River CBBA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matías Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the C.U.E. DE COMERCIO defense, Ponciano Abarca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredinho Gerber. The C.U.E. DE COMERCIO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredinho Gerber should have stopped the shot. Matías Almeida hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Alfredinho Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ponciano Abarca in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Sergio Mustafa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcelo Barovero. The goal made the score 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ponciano Abarca in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredinho Gerber saved C.U.E. DE COMERCIO from getting behind. Sergio Mustafa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Marcelo Barovero skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sergio Mustafa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Marcelo Barovero made a huge save. River CBBA's Marcelo Barovero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save River CBBA from getting a goal against them. 37 minutes into the match, River CBBA's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sergio Mustafa. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

River CBBA made a substitution. Juan Funes replaced Ponciano Abarca. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sergio Mustafa to make the kick off. Sergio Mustafa might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelo Barovero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sergio Mustafa ran back to his position shaking his head. River CBBA's Marcelo Barovero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Mustafa in the 53rd minute of play. Sergio Mustafa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelo Barovero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Marcelo Barovero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Mustafa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sergio Mustafa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. River CBBA's Modesto Ado was substituted for Guerau Abeitia. River CBBA made a substitution. Varis Birgelis replaced Cipriano Abechuco. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO made a substitution. Teodoro Nikola replaced Francisco Taveira. Matías Almeida charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matías Almeida the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th match minute, River CBBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matías Almeida to maneuver through the defense. Salvador Romano took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Barovero. Marcelo Barovero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 90th minute of the game Matías Almeida made a throw-in which Boğaçhan Akyel played forward. 96 minutes into the match, River CBBA's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Romano came free, but Marcelo Barovero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
