Spectators: 51 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zaccheo Andolina kicked off to start the match. Italy's Flavio Vittori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Italy from getting a goal against them. In the 8th minute Siricio Liotta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Navarro Montoya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Italy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sigfrido Auletta in the 10th minute. After taking down the ball on Italy's corner Zaccheo Andolina fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Navarro Montoya quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Jastreb getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Ilko Smoje hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Zaccheo Andolina sped through Jastreb's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Navarro Montoya. Sigfrido Auletta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Navarro Montoya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute of the match, Duško Zambata got a very nice opportunity to score, but Flavio Vittori was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Gianpaolo Mascari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Navarro Montoya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Jastreb's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Navarro Montoya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Siricio Liotta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Navarro Montoya. Jastreb's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Siricio Liotta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Siricio Liotta struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Navarro Montoya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Italy. Navarro Montoya came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Italy's Siricio Liotta. But to his dismay, Siricio Liotta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Navarro Montoya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 64th minute of the match. Zena Busacca hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Jastreb made a substitution. Miran Tudor replaced Vanja Dimitrijević. The supporters of Jastreb booed when Italy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zena Busacca didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Börje Forsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jastreb made a substitution. Bo Nesta replaced Marco Materazzi. An unexpected shot in the 73rd minute by Porziano Marchitelli got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 78th minute Italy were awarded a corner. Sigfrido Auletta went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Siricio Liotta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Navarro Montoya quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bo Cantona in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Vittori prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bo Cantona scored 1-4 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flavio Vittori, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy made a substitution. Guiscardo Davide replaced Sigfrido Auletta. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. 94 minutes into the game, Imants Blasāns threw the ball into play from the sideline. Italy's Siricio Liotta quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Italy's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
