Viriato Moura started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute Zbigniew Zatorski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodolfo Miranda hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Zbigniew Zatorski came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zbigniew Zatorski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Arí Furtado kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wilson Amorim. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Jan Piatek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. 19 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zbigniew Zatorski. Davut Altınpınar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felipe Barreto's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Felipe Barreto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Davut Altınpınar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan Piatek got free with Wilson Amorim in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Davut Altınpınar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Moreira in the 31st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Caetano Moreira in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Davut Altınpınar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Davut Altınpınar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Davut Altınpınar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 38th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davut Altınpınar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Davut Altınpınar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zbigniew Zatorski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Portugal's Daniel Pimentel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sílvio Luiz Vieira in the 52 minute of the game. In the 53rdth minute of the game Felipe Barreto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Davut Altınpınar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felipe Barreto in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Davut Altınpınar saved Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Laerte Romero got a free kick in the 55th minute. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Ash Duxbury was substituted for Mauro Quirino. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Gabriel Peres was substituted for Pedro Luiz Dantas. In the 56th minute, Laerte Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sílvio Luiz Vieira hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute, Viriato Moura reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Davut Altınpınar. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 63rd minute, Raul Caetano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristofer Peck in the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbigniew Zatorski in the 65th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arí Furtado's late challenge caught a Portugal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arí Furtado helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Arí Furtado hit a great ball. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. In the 68th minute, Arí Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Portugal's Davut Altınpınar threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bartolomeu Dias, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 75th minute, one of Portugal:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Portugal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! 1-2 came through a penalty shot after 82 played minutes, when Portugal:s Daniel Pimentel calmly waited for Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. After some careless play in the Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- defense, Bartolomeu Dias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Davut Altınpınar. The Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Davut Altınpınar should have stopped the shot. 88 minutes into the match, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Davut Altınpınar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Pimentel. 91 minutes into the match, Daniel Pimentel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Davut Altınpınar, 1-4. The supporters of Portugal booed when Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Peres didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felipinho Amorim in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Davut Altınpınar saved Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- from getting behind. With a little luck, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Davut Altınpınar got control of the ball when Bartolomeu Dias tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Portugal players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
