Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Özgür Özbay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Flavio Vittori made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Sulo Montaña kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Flavio Vittori. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özgür Özbay in the 14th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Hüseyin Cahit Gökdoğan threw the ball into play from the sideline. Italy's Siricio Liotta quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 19th minute Sigfrido Auletta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Buturugã saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zena Busacca during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. LOI's Atak Koral managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Deodato Magliozzi in the 31 minute of the game. Sulo Montaña who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Flavio Vittori when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sulo Montaña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. George Buturugã made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 45th minute of play. Sigfrido Auletta made a great header on Italy's corner, it was just that LOI's George Buturugã managed to reach the ball for a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Zaccheo Andolina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but George Buturugã made a huge save. After 59 played minutes LOI got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Hamdi Ortan. If Zaccheo Andolina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind LOI's goalkeeper George Buturugã, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that George Buturugã narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Deodato Magliozzi made in the 77th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Porziano Marchitelli however managed to control. After having played for 78 minutes, Sulo Montaña managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LOI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sulo Montaña was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Italy made a substitution. LOI's George Buturugã proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save LOI from getting a goal against them. 88 minutes into the match, Porziano Marchitelli dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of George Buturugã, 1-1. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kerimhan Cevher in the 94th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Curto in the 95th minute of play forced LOI's goalkeeper George Buturugã to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
