Konstantinos Vasilomichelakis succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 3rd playminute. 9 minutes into the game, Borjan Golubovic was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Serbia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Đorđević the free kick. Elija Pujana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zvezdan Nedeljkovic having to make a save. An unexpected shot in the 26th minute by Elija Pujana got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 30 played minutes Serbia got a freekick which was hit by Cvijetin Nanusevski. Momir Gisic hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Serbia's goalkeeper Zvezdan Nedeljkovic, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Đorđević's Omar Matia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. That made the score 4-0 after 35 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a defensive mix-up in Serbia's zone, Elija Pujana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic came out of the goal and Elija Pujana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elija Pujana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zvezdan Nedeljkovic having to make a save. Omar Matia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zvezdan Nedeljkovic having to make a save. In the 55th minute of the match, Borjan Golubovic tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Makis Giannakoglou saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 56 played minutes Đorđević got a freekick which was hit by Jesper Björkdahl. Serbia's Sreten Popovic shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 57th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Makis Giannakoglou but with some difficulty. 58 minutes into the game, Elija Pujana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 60 played minutes Serbia got a freekick which was hit by Sreten Popovic. Đorđević's attentive Freddy Joanes managed to snatch the ball when Miljan Gavrilovic made a throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game. In the 75th match minute, Đorđević was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konstantinos Vasilomichelakis to maneuver through the defense. Giorgos Pagopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Elija Pujana put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. Giorgos Pagopoulos took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Đorđević's Giorgos Pagopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th match minute, Serbia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jovan Borisov to maneuver through the defense. Đorđević's Vlassis Ferekidis got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that Đorđević were the better team. Đorđević's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
