Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when José Bomba took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Bomba. José Bomba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Khalid Kennedy having to make a save. A collision led to F.C. Paços de Ferreira getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. João Maia hit a great ball. Micah Macdonald was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 9th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Paços de Ferreira's zone, Kyle Cox stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Poças came out of the goal and Kyle Cox tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Issac Dawson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 19 in the game by José Bomba from a close distance when the talented Khalid Kennedy managed to make a qualified save. England's players were relieved. Miguel Poças made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caelan Hayes in the 23rd minute of play. Hakan Kutlu's late challenge caught a England's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hakan Kutlu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th minute, Hakan Kutlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute Issac Dawson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Poças saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to England getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Caelan Hayes hit a great ball. João Gomes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Khalid Kennedy. England's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. England's Khalid Kennedy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save England from getting a goal against them. Khalid Kennedy was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and José Bomba capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. José Bomba really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. José Bomba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Khalid Kennedy made a huge save. Khalid Kennedy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Bomba's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute Caelan Hayes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Poças saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind F.C. Paços de Ferreira's goalkeeper Miguel Poças, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of England booed when F.C. Paços de Ferreira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hakan Kutlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Bomba in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Khalid Kennedy saved England from getting behind. The audience was convinced that José Bomba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Khalid Kennedy was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Khalid Kennedy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Bomba, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Caelan Hayes might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miguel Poças. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Caelan Hayes ran back to his position shaking his head. F.C. Paços de Ferreira made a substitution. Inácio Secco replaced João Gomes. Kyle Cox fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Poças having to interfere. In the 86th minute, one of England:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for England. F.C. Paços de Ferreira were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after England's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Igor Tudor took the corner. In the 92nd match minute, England was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quinn Holmes to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The F.C. Paços de Ferreira fans cheered their team off the field, for while England had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
