The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Frank Sachs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Currito Torrente was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. After 6 minutes León FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Frank Sachs who took care of the corner kick. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With his leg Tommy Kahn managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when León FC's Iñigo Pedrosa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot by Sergio Odín from long distance, 16 minutes into the match, got Tommy Kahn's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 17th minute, Iñigo Pedrosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The León FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iñigo Pedrosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The supporters of León FC booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Krakouer didn't get a good kick on the ball. León FC's Galsino Barba couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Germany. 34 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iñigo Pedrosa. In the 42nd minute Iñigo Pedrosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Iñigo Pedrosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 48 minutes into the match, Iñigo Pedrosa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn, 6-0.

The wind increased when Iñigo Pedrosa made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iñigo Pedrosa in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 62 minutes of play, León FC's Iñigo Pedrosa made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Espiridion Manrique in the 69th minute of play. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Espiridion Manrique sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Galsino Barba in the 75th minute of play. The León FC fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when León FC's Espiridion Manrique looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Espiridion Manrique, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute Espiridion Manrique shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sergio Odín went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. 87 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Galsino Barba came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by León FC's Galsino Barba. But to his dismay, Galsino Barba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. In the 93rd minute, Espiridion Manrique left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The León FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-0. Espiridion Manrique scored 13-0 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. León FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
