When Szymon Wlodyga fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JET-M's protests and gave Szymon Wlodyga a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Germany booed when JET-M was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Szymon Wlodyga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute, Su Sang Hao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute of the match Frank Sachs sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nikifor Vekov skillfully saved the ball. JET-M made a substitution. Alfredo Di Stéfano replaced Su Sang Hao. The wind increased when Ivan Haglund made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Willy Stieler hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Palamarov came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Germany's Janik Vogt got a free kick in the 57th minute. Gabriel Palamarov struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. The audience was convinced that Alfredo Di Stéfano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. In the 95thth minute of the game Alfredo Di Stéfano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
