The crowd rose to their feet as Avram Elenescu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Maxime Durand. That made the score 2-0 in the 41 minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, FC Buzău's Leonard Aanuţei sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maxime Durand narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Maxime Durand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avram Elenescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Avram Elenescu made a kick off. The FC Buzău players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
