Arnout Reekers was a little too slow when Torbjörn Berg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. Aaron Ramsdal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 34 minutes into the match, Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Aaron Ramsdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jacob Dale made the kick off in the second half. Aaron Ramsdal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 51st minute. Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's Aaron Ramsdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 58th minute of play. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Kees Mooiweer managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. With a little luck, Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's Aaron Ramsdal got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 67th minute of the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aaron Ramsdal was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 81st minute of play forced Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute Lars Meesters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Ramsdal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
