After 34 played minutes Los Irrompibles got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Videl. 44 minutes into the match, Hungary's Antal Valentin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabricio Lawrence narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Los Irrompibles's Cleto Truylos was substituted for Gonzalo Videl. Los Irrompibles made a substitution. Cristo Gregory replaced Dionisio Arias. The supporters of Hungary booed when Los Irrompibles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Temelko Kozov didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Los Irrompibles succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Hungary had controlled the match.
