After 24 played minutes Fauna Utd got a freekick which was hit by Unai Sócrates. Adria Bielsa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Radamel Hendrickx read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Omar Toledo spun around in front of the goal 27 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Fauna Utd's goal. Radamel Hendrickx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Aranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Ascaso made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Unai Sócrates sent off a good shot on target. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Spain's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. 董文鹰 was slow to take the kick. During this time Fauna Utd's players had a chance to rest. Gabriel Ascaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Unai Sócrates, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Radamel Hendrickx didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vicente Merino went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Radamel Hendrickx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adria Bielsa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41 minutes Fauna Utd's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Omar Toledo who took care of the corner kick. 43 minutes into the match, Fauna Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Toledo came free, but Radamel Hendrickx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Fauna Utd's corner Dante Huts fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gabriel Ascaso quite easily take care of the ball. After the first half Spain were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Omar Toledo made the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the match, Fauna Utd's goalkeeper Radamel Hendrickx had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Omar Toledo. 54 minutes into the game, Fauna Utd's Unai Sócrates nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabriel Ascaso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Spain's Gabriel Ascaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Unai Sócrates in the 57th minute of play. Omar Toledo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Radamel Hendrickx made a huge save. Radamel Hendrickx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Toledo in the 82nd minute of play. Spain's Sergio Ruiz was substituted for Adria Bielsa. Spain's Carles Cherro was substituted for Omar Toledo. The throw-in from Jon Cubero in the 84th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fauna Utd's Dante Huts. A sloppy throw-in by Jonathan Criado in the 86th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Fauna Utd's Dante Huts. Radamel Hendrickx made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Carles Cherro sent off a good shot on target. Fauna Utd's attentive Yuri Portugal managed to snatch the ball when Jonathan Criado made a throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game. When the final whistle sounded Spain left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fauna Utd.
