Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cezary Kaczeniak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gijsbert ter Kruimer to strike the kick off in the second half. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Cezary Kaczeniak made a huge save. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Edwardów's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. Cezary Kaczeniak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Artur Pietrowski took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Edwardów's Cezary Kaczeniak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 66th minute of play. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Egbert Nijveldt got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-4. 68 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Edwardów defense, Lars Meesters kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cezary Kaczeniak. The Edwardów fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cezary Kaczeniak should have stopped the shot. In the 73rd minute of the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cezary Kaczeniak saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 75th minute, Kilian Mbappè hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cezary Kaczeniak made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. Netherlands's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
