Thracian F.C's Evaristo Transito couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Denmark. Denmark's Mikkel Wulff quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Zeledon Oto, made in the 26th minute of the game. Keld Paulsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Tache in the 30th minute. Keld Paulsen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ştefan Petru showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chris Nygaard to make the kick off. When Olof Lind fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Thracian F.C's protests and gave Olof Lind a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd match minute, Thracian F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olof Lind to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute Victor Tache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Thracian F.C booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertram Svenningsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Vincent Björling threw the ball into play from the sideline. Keld Paulsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gelu Lera went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Olof Lind got his second yellow card in the match during the 93rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Thracian F.C getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Olof Lind hit a great ball. 97 minutes into the match, Thracian F.C's goalkeeper Esteban Ralondo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bertram Svenningsen. The Thracian F.C players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
