Marty Perryman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gheorghe Bociort, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goalkeeper Iacob Povară had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rickard Eriksson. In the 30th minute of the match Dan Petrescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marty Perryman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Gheorghe Bociort's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marty Perryman was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. In the 46th minute, Gheorghe Bociort ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marty Perryman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rickard Eriksson was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Gheorghe Bociort's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marty Perryman was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Marty Perryman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. With his leg Marty Perryman managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Francisc Ciocoiu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Silviu Latarețu succeeded in the game's 96th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-6. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
