After a rather tough play, Legio X Eqvestris's Teofilo Oihan got a free kick in the 10th minute. Cirilo Frederico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Navarro in the 13th minute of play. Ariel Gustau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Iturri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Kiev FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Paradela came free, but Cirilo Frederico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute José Paradela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Frederico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, José Paradela notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Kiev FC's Cirilo Frederico. Cirilo Frederico was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 25th minute Kiev FC were awarded a corner. Angelino Abeita went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 27th minute Anselmo Iturri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Gustau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Legio X Eqvestris's Slawomir Podwojski got a free kick in the 30th minute. Kiev FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Iturri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Angelino Abeita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kiev FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelino Abeita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ariel Gustau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anselmo Iturri was the one to do the kick off. Cirilo Frederico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Paradela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kiev FC's Cirilo Frederico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Aimar in the 57th minute of play. Cirilo Frederico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Aimar, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Ariel Gustau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Iturri in the 64th minute of the match. Generoso Emenon kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Kiev FC's Angelino Abeita broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
