Åke Rudberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, FC Töve's Jim Billock got a free kick in the 16th minute. Ricardo Cassagne scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Åke Rudberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ariel Gustau made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Dan Bryngelsson sent off a good shot on target. Åke Rudberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Paradela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis Navarro in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Åke Rudberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC Töve's Åke Rudberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Paradela in the 27th minute of play. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Legio X Eqvestris's goalkeeper Ariel Gustau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Åke Rudberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Generoso Emenon went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Nick Elin hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luis Navarro made a kick off. With an all-out effort, Legio X Eqvestris's Åke Rudberg threw himself towards the right post 51 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ricardo Cassagne, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 52 played minutes FC Töve got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Alströmmer. 53 minutes into the game, Pablo Aimar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Legio X Eqvestris's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Töve the free kick. In the 53rd minute, Pablo Aimar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Åke Rudberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Paradela in the 63rd minute of the match. Åke Rudberg made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when José Paradela sent off a good shot on target. Ricardo Cassagne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the match, FC Töve's goal looked a bit too open when José Paradela came free, but Åke Rudberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Navarro in the 95th minute of play forced FC Töve's goalkeeper Åke Rudberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
