After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Ingmar Hellkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Töve's supporters rose to their feet, but Ingmar Hellkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genaro Asur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Jurgi in the 12th minute of play forced FC Töve's goalkeeper Åke Rudberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half FC Töve were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Virgilio Lawrence to strike the kick off in the second half.
