The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mikki Getlin hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Refik Ülgü to make the kick off. TEAMGEIST Football Club's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because FC CSKA had won, even though TEAMGEIST Football Club had held more of the ball.
