The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mehmet Akif Cerme during the 6th minute. The supporters of LOI booed when Inter de Chillán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florencio Jax didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zhuo Xuan Yu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özgür Özbay in the 40th minute of play. Zhuo Xuan Yu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özgür Özbay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bektaş Veli Ülgü charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bektaş Veli Ülgü the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Inter de Chillán booed when LOI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bektaş Veli Ülgü didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grzegorz Bierfass sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute Özgür Özbay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhuo Xuan Yu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inter de Chillán's Zhuo Xuan Yu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Inter de Chillán from getting a goal against them. Kaan Öztanır recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Sulo Montaña made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Sulo Montaña ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zhuo Xuan Yu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 60 played minutes LOI got a freekick which was hit by Özgür Özbay. George Buturugã didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samuel Abel went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 65th minute Samuel Abel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Buturugã saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Inter de Chillán's Florencio Jax nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. George Buturugã made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. LOI's Tayyip Taylan was substituted for Habib Durukan. Zhuo Xuan Yu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Segio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inter de Chillán's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tobías Izamit in the 99th minute. A nice corner shot did that Eladio Araujo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this George Buturugã quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Inter de Chillán walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
