Silver Squad AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Henrik Ooms in the 21st minute. Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sulo Montaña in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sulo Montaña in the 37th minute of play forced Silver Squad AFC's goalkeeper Waud De Geyter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. George Buturugã made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Loid De Keuster sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Silver Squad AFC defense, Özgür Özbay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waud De Geyter. The Silver Squad AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waud De Geyter should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fryderyk Mondrowski got free with George Buturugã in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute, Hüseyin Cahit Gökdoğan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. George Buturugã showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Carberry in the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benjamin Carberry was the one to do the kick off. When Henrik Ooms fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Silver Squad AFC's protests and gave Henrik Ooms a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of LOI booed when Silver Squad AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Ooms didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henrik Ooms kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. LOI's Habib Durukan got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. LOI's George Buturugã played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Carberry in the 72nd minute of play.
