Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Antal Valentin took the kick off in the first half of the match. Reynaldo Maia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reynaldo Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 7th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Major Barna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reynaldo Maia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 11 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reynaldo Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 19th minute of play. Reynaldo Maia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Major Barna took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reynaldo Maia. Reynaldo Maia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 25th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Katona Janos to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, Antal Valentin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reynaldo Maia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 31st minute, Bakos Endre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Major Barna might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reynaldo Maia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Major Barna ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 33rd minute of play forced São Paulo da Floresta's goalkeeper Reynaldo Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Hungary booed when São Paulo da Floresta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dênis Félix in the 36th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Jean Fernandez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fodor Daniel, 1-3. The São Paulo da Floresta players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hungary were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dênis Félix to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match, Antal Valentin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Reynaldo Maia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. São Paulo da Floresta's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Antal Valentin scored to the left of an out of position Reynaldo Maia, making the score, 1-4. Hungary's Antal Valentin got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, São Paulo da Floresta's Reynaldo Maia got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Reynaldo Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, São Paulo da Floresta's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Antal Valentin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Takacs Tibor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the game, Major Barna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hungary's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave São Paulo da Floresta the free kick. With a little luck, São Paulo da Floresta's Reynaldo Maia got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hungary played a much better game than São Paulo da Floresta and deserved their victory. The São Paulo da Floresta players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
