Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Switzerland's Samuele Kunz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the game, Thor Forssberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hias Nüssli. Thor Forssberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Samuele Kunz sped through A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Raul Jax. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thor Forssberg got free with Hias Nüssli in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Switzerland's Hias Nüssli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Switzerland from getting a goal against them. If Aureliano Hunfredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Thor Forssberg got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Switzerland booed when A.D Atlético Villa Gesell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anier Pereyra didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th play minute Thor Forssberg came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hias Nüssli. 2-1. 44 minutes into the game, Thor Forssberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hias Nüssli. Thor Forssberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thor Forssberg was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th minute, Aureliano Hunfredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thor Forssberg struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Hias Nüssli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.D Atlético Villa Gesell. After a rather tough play, Switzerland's Leo Allemann got a free kick in the 55th minute. Aureliano Hunfredo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hias Nüssli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Leo Allemann kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. A collision led to A.D Atlético Villa Gesell getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Marin Mascovescu hit a great ball. Alejo Loren kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Samuele Kunz, 64 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Samuele Kunz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Raul Jax tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Anier Pereyra fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's protests and gave Anier Pereyra a yellow card for diving instead. Anier Pereyra kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 76 minutes into the game, Leo Allemann threw the ball into play from the sideline. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Marin Mascovescu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Marin Mascovescu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Leo Allemann in the 77 minute of the game. Thor Forssberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Switzerland's Samuele Kunz got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Switzerland's zone, Thor Forssberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hias Nüssli came out of the goal and Thor Forssberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 88 minutes into the match, Switzerland's goal looked a bit too open when Thor Forssberg came free, but Hias Nüssli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 89th minute of the match Anier Pereyra completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Anier Pereyra a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Raul Jax played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuele Kunz in the 91st minute of play. Switzerland's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because A.D Atlético Villa Gesell had won, even though Switzerland had held more of the ball.
