Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 5th minute, one of France:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for France. After 9 played minutes Rovine Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Alexandru Tudorică. When Rovine Craiova's Manole Frunză in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 22nd minute of the match Rovine Craiova got a corner. France's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alexandru Tudorică ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 29thth minute of the game Manole Frunză who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but France's Maxime Durand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jyrki Saarelainen took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maxime Durand. Maxime Durand dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Camille Baume kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Manole Frunzăs short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Maxime Durand to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Maxime Durand made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Manole Frunză sent off a good shot on target. 39 minutes into the match, Manole Frunză dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Maxime Durand, 5-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manole Frunză in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxime Durand saved France from getting behind. In the 44th minute of the match, Alexandru Tudorică tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Maxime Durand saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 46 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Manole Frunză came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

After 52 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Quentin Beaux. Maxime Durand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandru Tudorică, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Maxime Durand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
