Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Austria's Sandro Galishoff started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marvin Harrer charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marvin Harrer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Juvenil Sport Club booed when Austria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marvin Harrer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute, Luís Fernando Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 11 played minutes Juvenil Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fernando Brito. After having played for 16 minutes, Edson Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juvenil Sport Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edson Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th minute Edson Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Auer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edson Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Auer having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Luís Fernando Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Austria's Sandro Galishoff couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 25th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Juvenil Sport Club. In the 26th minute, André de Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Sandro Galishoff managed to get in a good position for a shot. Austria's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandro Galishoff was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandrinho Quintal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sebastião Queiroz made in the 35th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Rui Furlan immediately put the ball in play. In the 39th minute, Leonhard Maier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonhard Maier during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 41 played minutes Austria got a freekick which was hit by Leonhard Maier.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edson Silva to strike the kick off in the second half. Sandro Galishoff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Sandrinho Quintal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matheus Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Juvenil Sport Club's Luciano Trigo got a free kick in the 67th minute. A collision led to Juvenil Sport Club getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Jerônimo Abreu hit a great ball. Jonas Nalder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandrinho Quintal having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Edson Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 80 played minutes Juvenil Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fernando Brito. In the 83rd minute, Austria's Fabio Schneider ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sandrinho Quintal. Sandrinho Quintal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Edson Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Fabio Auer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Austria supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Austria would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
